Our main educational tours include ESL components at ELICOS institutions or local high schools. Other tour inclusions cover sports training, homestay, company visits, farm visits and customised educational eco-tours and recreational excursions. Research tours are designed to meet to specific client requests. SETA has provided incentive and research tours for Medical / Health Science, Welfare, Civil Engineering, Agriculture, sports, Music and official Government Visits for Japanese schools, universities, hospitals, private companies and local Governments.
Homestay arrangement is one of the most popular requests from Japanese student groups. Host families are interviewed at their home by our interviewer and also undertake a detailed assessment. All host families must hold a valid Positive Notice for Child Related Employment BLUE CARD. SETA has a sizeable resource of host families both in the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas. Furthermore SETA reassesses host families through student feedback to assist in maintaining a quality homestay experience for participants in SETA tours.
